Our story

Chesapeake Christian Fellowship was birthed through the vision God gave our founder and present Senior Pastor, Pastor Pat Packett. Believing that the church must change to reach different people, God gave Pastor Pat a vision of “A Different Kind of Church for a Different Kind of Times.” Reaching out to the lost and the broken with the light and truth of God’s Word, CCF became a haven and place of healing for many who found themselves in darkness and outside the church walls. In early 1994, seven people met in Pastor Pat’s living room for the first meeting of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship. The vision was cast and CCF began.

On March 6, 1994, CCF had our first public meeting. In the early years, CCF met in hotels across the Annapolis area and then in school auditoriums in the Edgewater area. Through God’s hand of provision and providence, CCF was able to purchase 21 acres of land in Davidsonville, MD on the corner of 214 and Brick Church Road.

our story continues...

In October 2002, Chesapeake Christian Fellowship opened the doors

of our first building, an 800-person sanctuary with offices and classrooms.

In 2008, CCF opened the doors of our second building, a multi-purpose gym

and meeting area with a commercial kitchen and classrooms beneath.

The ministry of CCF has always had an emphasis and focus to reach the lost.

God has allowed our message to travel worldwide to the city of Lima, Peru,

the Ivory Coast, and even as far as the Czech Republic. In 2016 CCF became the sole support of a school in Haiti and in 2017 established an orphanage in the town of Montrouis.

In 2012, God spoke again to our Senior Pastor and told him to, “Finish strong.”

Vision 20/20 became the effort and pursuit of our fellowship to begin to reach,

engage and build the next generation of believers, introducing them and connecting them to the ministry of CCF.
